A typical office examination and consultation will take between 20-30 minutes.
Our comprehensive exam includes:
- Neurological Diagnostic Tests – to determine nerve strength or dysfunction
- Orthopedic Tests – to determine the strength and condition of the bones, joints
and connective tissue
- Chiropractic Evaluation – a physical exam of the spine to determine its
condition, previous injuries, if any, and whether or not there is misalignment, which can cause nerve interference and/or pain
- X-rays – Dr. Salmōn may decide to take x-rays of the spine and lower back, to
accurately determine the need for and specificity of future adjustments

“As an expert in the care of the human spine and nervous system, I am extremely thorough with my examination before determining whether or not a patient is a candidate for Chiropractic treatment. In some cases, it is necessary to take x-rays of the spine to determine the proper course of care. Once I have seen and evaluated the x-rays, I go over the results with the patient and thoroughly explain my recommended course of treatment and answer any questions they may have.”
