Dr.
Anthony Salmon is a licensed, board-certified doctor of chiropractic and
founder of Community Chiropractic in Lake Elsinore, CA. He is not only a
chiropractic practitioner, but also a walking example of how this method
of healthcare can change one’s life. In 1995, he was involved in a
car accident where he suffered a spinal injury that left him in constant
pain. Upon the recommendation of a friend, he sought the treatment of a
local chiropractor who within a few short visits, relieved him of his back
pain and taught him how to care for his body as a way of life. |
The chiropractic
care he received, and the philosophy he learned about how spinal health
creates total nervous system health, changed his life. The experience inspired
him to leave behind a successful career in outside sales to pursue a doctoral
degree in chiropractic. Later that same year, he enrolled in the U.S.’s
leading chiropractic school, Life Chiropractic College in Marietta, GA,
where he graduated in 1999.
After receiving his degree, Dr. Salmon returned to Southern California to
apprentice at an established chiropractic office for two years before starting
his own practice in 2001. A native of San Diego, CA, Dr. Salmon is also
a graduate of the University of Southern California, where he received his
BS in Exercise Physiology. He also pursued Masters Studies in Physiology
at Long Beach State, upon graduation from USC.
An avid weight and power lifter, Dr. Salmon believes in total body care
through the practice of chiropractic. “If you take care of your spine,
it will lead to a healthier, better working nervous system – which
controls every function of your body,” says Dr. Salmon. “At
Community Chiropractic, we believe in total patient care. We start with
x-rays of the affected area, then I examine the x-rays and the patient carefully
before recommending a path of treatment. Many people don’t realize
that a small ache or pain somewhere in the body can be treated or cured
with adjustments to the spine. Spinal health really does control and elevate
the body’s other key functions. It’s a critical element of everyone’s
overall physical health.”
Dr. Salmon credits his father, a commercial tuna fisherman, with his respect
for education and focus on helping others. “He really taught me the
value of education and the importance of doing something meaningful with
my life. I wouldn’t be where I am today without him.”
A member of the Lake Elsinore Elks and Rotary Clubs, Dr. Salmon is also
active in coaching his daughters Soccer Team.
